Pre-requisite: Completion of workshop 1

Compared to Sakai, Assignments and Grading in Canvas require a different mindset. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create an assignment with various options, view submissions, set up your gradebook categories and weighting, use the Speedgrader, and learn about organizational options in Grades.   You’ll also practice using the student view feature called TestStudent to gain a student’s perspective of each of these tools. After this session, you’ll complete required tasks as homework to practice your skills in Assignments, Grades, and the Speedgrader. 

​Completion of workshops 1, 2 and 3 is required to gain access to your Summer and/or Fall 2023 courses on Canvas.
