To comply with federal and state laws, it’s important that the learning content instructors place online is accessible to all students regardless of disability. In this session, guest speaker Darrin Evans will explain what web accessibility is, who it affects, and why it’s important. And he will show how instructors can utilize color, structure, images, web links, and multimedia in ways that make online content accessible to all learners. Instructors who teach online or hybrid courses are strongly encouraged to attend. The presentation is appropriate for those who teach face-to-face classes as well.
