In this hands-on session, you will learn how to make Word 2013 documents accessible to students regardless of disability. This workshop will cover using headings to create proper document structure; providing alternative text for images; creating accessible web links; handling lists and tables; and identifying issues using the Accessibility Checker built into Word 2013.

PRE-REQUISITES: Completion of the “Intro to Web Accessibility” workshop is required. Also, to participate you must be comfortable using Word 2013 to create and edit documents.
