Instructional Technologies is pleased to partner with Erin Mahoney-Ross, a Canvas expert from Instructure, to provide a series of 4 training webinars on special topics to help faculty prepare for and begin teaching their Fall classes.

This webinar will provide an in-depth look at managing student grades and providing feedback in Canvas. Canvas Learning Consultant Erin Mahoney-Ross will demystify rubrics—how to find, create, and edit them—and then easily attach them to activities for efficient grading. She'll step into the gradebook to share global options to customize your view and apply grading settings that suit your preferences. You'll learn how to navigate the SpeedGrader, with helpful tips on sorting, draft history, and providing feedback through annotations, text comments, and media. By the end of this session, you'll have more confidence in entering grades, leaving meaningful feedback, and utilizing the grade detail tray. This workshop will provide opportunities for participation and hands-on practice.
