Target Groups: Program Chairs and Program Directors

In response to a request from the Central Hub about how NC Community Colleges define excellence, we decided to use this as an opportunity to redefine Excellence at Durham Tech. As teaching modalities and student needs change, so must our definition of what makes excellent instruction. We see this as a way of refining our standards and finding mechanisms for supporting faculty growth towards excellence. This work is central to our college's mission of supporting student success.

You, our Program Chairs and Directors, have the insight and feedback that will help us structure how Durham Tech determines, encourages, and rewards excellence from our faculty. We will host two in-person workshops and invite you to join us for the one that fits your schedule.
