Supervisor Training: Leading Through Change: Difficult Conversations & Conflict Resolution for Community College Leaders

Facilitator: Dr. Angela D. Davis

Overview: This workshop series is not a conflict-avoidance experience, but a leadership capacity–building initiative designed to strengthen how community college leaders navigate tension, complexity, and change. Grounded in mission-driven decision-makingshared governance realities, and an understanding of power, positional authority, and lived experiences, the series equips leaders to engage difficult conversations with clarity and purpose. Participants will examine how organizational history, lived experiences, and authority shape conflict, and how leadership responses can either escalate or repair trust. The experience emphasizes accountability, repair, and coherence as essential leadership behaviors that support institutional resilience and student success.

Note this is a 3-part series; each session is 1.5 hrs. When you accept, you are committing to the three sessions on the following dates. You have a choice of attending in the morning or afternoon for each session.  Participants will receive a badge for attending all three sessions.
