Supervisory Training

This training will consist of three full days of supervisory training conducted by outside trainers.  There will be two groups selected for each of these trainings and these trainings are “mandatory”.  We have limited this selection to only current supervisors that have at least one full-time employee reporting to them.

*Maximizing Performance: The Power of Feedback

During this course, you will learn the difference between reinforcing and developmental feedback, as well as strategies for delivering both. Using a personal feedback assessment, group exercises and role-play exercises, you will learn and practice the skills you need to provide feedback that will maximize employee performance.

 

*Developing Others Through Coaching

In this half-day interactive course, you will learn what coaching is, how to be an effective coach and how to use coaching to maximize the performance of your team.

 

*Workplace Laws for Managers and Supervisors

This program will assist your managers and supervisors in protecting themselves and your organization by helping them develop an awareness of the numerous and confusing workplace laws. They will learn how to balance leading their teams with the responsibilities that go hand in hand with ensuring compliance with workplace laws.

 

*Managing Problem Performance

During this course, discover strategies and tools to deal with problem performance in this interactive course. Learn the key steps to follow in a performance management process and the four main causes of performance problems. This class includes real-world examples, interactive exercises, and case studies will provide proven strategies for you to effectively manage challenging performance issues in your workplace.

 

*Conducting Effective Performance Appraisals

During this course, you will evaluate the process you currently use for performance appraisals, learn key strategies for evaluating and discussing performance, and create a plan with specific action items to boost your performance appraisal skills.

 

*Managing Conflict within Your Team

During this course, discover strategies to manage conflict within your team.
