The Meetings tool in Sakai allows instructors to hold live, webinar-style online meetings with students.

This workshop provides a quick, hands-on introduction to the basic features of the Meetings tool. It doesn’t cover all the bells and whistles, but is designed to get you started using the tool fast!

In this workshop, you will create an online meeting, attend a meeting as a student, and practice leading a meeting, using the Sakai Meetings tool.

You will learn how to upload presentations, draw on the whiteboard, interact with students via audio and chat, create polls, and share your screen. And you’ll find out how to record your session for later viewing by students who miss the meeting.

Pre-requisites: Registration is required. Completion of the Intro to Sakai workshop or experience using Sakai as an instructor is required.
