Web Attendance for Non-Credit Instructors

This training is a working session that will provide instructions for managing attendance in Web Attendance Tracking.  Topics to be covered include the following: accessing web attendance rosters, attendance types, attendance entry workflow for membership and contact hour classes, attendance rules for online classes, and finalizing web attendance rosters.

This is a working session. During the session, participants are expected to have access to the Web Attendance Tracking link in Web Advisor and the following training documents:

One in 5 school police officers say that schools are not prepare to handle an active shooter and most likely any other major emergency outside of a fire. Evacuating a building due to a fire is practice readily through out the years of a person’s life. Other situations are seldom practiced, if at all.  The college and the police department decided to re-examine the plans that are in place for such emergencies. During the process the college decided to look for a way to communicate not only with students and employees, but strategically within the grounds of the campus.

Curriculum Scheduling Basics

The Curriculum Scheduling Basics training will focus on scheduling curriculum courses consistent with the Combined Course Library (CCL), state regulations and local policies. Topics of discussion focus on section dates, delivery methods, instructional methods and proper scheduling of required contact hours. Participants are encouraged to review the Scheduling Basics guide (which will be available early February) prior to attendance.

Curriculum Management: Making Changes to Your Credit Courses and Programs

This information session provides an overview of NCCCS curriculum standards, Program Revision Procedure, Curriculum Course/Program Termination Procedure, best practices for program design, and guidance for course maintenance (requisites, registration restrictions, capacities, etc.). Program directors are strongly encouraged to attend, and stay for the related subsequent training at 3:00 PM (CRSE and PROG Mnemonic Training) if they have not already completed it.
